Generation Gap Bio

Twenty-five-year-old recording artist, musician, singer, and songwriter, Joseph Ferrante, is the founder of Generation Gap, a multi-genre band formed in Memphis, TN. They have a passion for producing and performing music and set out to spread positivity and put people in a good mood. The band actually has a slogan saying “Spread Positivity” and performs pop, rock, blues, and other genres of cover songs from multiple generations ranging from the 1950’s all the way up to more current hits!

The band name, Generation Gap, is fitting due to not only the age gap of some of the members, but also the variety of more current and older music the band plays. The band is influenced by newer pop artists such as Shawn Mendes and the Jonas Brothers, older rock artists such as Bon Jovi and the Foo Fighters, and also even older artists such as Elvis Presley. The band plays various cover songs including some big hits and they also perform original pop and rock music too.

Joseph sings plays guitar in the band. The rest of the band includes Jason Dyer (drummer), Michael Goldberg (guitar player and singer), and Zach Perry (electric bass player and singer).

Joseph, Jason, Michael, and Zach all have played at Masses at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Bartlett, TN. Joseph is the songwriter for all of his original songs, but he has also had some help in the songwriting and recording process along the way.
